The Marana Schools’ 2340 Foundation extends its heartfelt gratitude to everyone who sponsored, volunteered, participated in, and attended the Marana Unified School District Centennial Celebration. Because of your generosity and support, we are proud to announce that the event raised $26,000 to support student scholarships and educational opportunities throughout Marana Unified School District.

The Centennial Celebration was truly a community-wide event that brought together students, families, alumni, staff, community members, business partners, and supporters to celebrate 100 years of excellence in education.

During the daytime celebration, attendees enjoyed school and community booths, student performances, historical displays, alumni reunions, local vendors, food trucks, and a variety of family-friendly activities. Children enjoyed inflatables, obstacle courses, train rides, and interactive activities, while alumni and longtime community members shared memories and stories from throughout the District’s history.

A highlight of the day was the debut of “Still Marana Strong,” an original song written and performed by Marana Unified School District music educators. The message of unity, pride, and community resonated throughout the celebration and became the theme of the Centennial.

The evening fundraising event continued the celebration with great food, entertainment, memorable reunions, and inspiring stories that honored Marana Unified School District’s past while looking toward its future. Alumni, former and current employees, community leaders, and supporters gathered to celebrate the impact that MUSD has had on generations of students.
